INDICATIONS FOR ADMINISTRATION

"Karipain" capsules are recommended in cases of such problems with locomotion apparatus as osteochondrosis, arthritis, arthrosis, intervertebral hernia, contractures of articulations and other pathologies of articulations and vertebral column. The preparation has proved to be efficient in the treatment of fractures, traumas, commissures and elimination of old keloid scars. "Karipain" gives an excellent effect in combination with electrophoresis.

ADMINISTRATION AND DOSES

The preparation is administered on daily basis, 2 capsules during meals (adult dosage) for 1-2 months. To obtain the best effect the course of treatment is repeated after 30-60 days. Massage or electrophoresis with gel or "Karipain" dry balm may be administered as additional therapy.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Glucosamine sulfate (350mg), Chondroitin sulphate (200mg), N-Acetil-D-Glucosamine (75mg), Boswellia extract(30mg), Papain (25mg), Manganese asparaginate (12mg), Resveratrol (7mg), Vitamine В6 (1mg).

Chondroitin sulphate

The chondroitin sulfate contained in the gel is based on the glycosaminoglycan and disaccharide residues of D- glucuronic acid. This component has a chondroprotective action and highly important for the cartilages and articulations.

Chondroitin sulfate stimulates the regeneration of cells, retains the water inside the cells and contributes to the normalization of bumping functions in the articulations. This element, like the hyaluronic acid, has analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties.

Its capacity to penetrate deep into the fibers of cartilaginous tissues provides a powerful impact on the metabolic processes in articulation tissues and improves their mobility. Moreover, chondroitin sulfate stimulates the synthesis of collagen – the main component of conjunctive tissues.

Glucosamin sulfate

Glucosamin is an aminosaccharide obtained from the shells of crustaceans. N-acetyl-D- Glucosamin

N-acetyl-D-Glucosamine is an aminosaccharide, a natural structural component of glycosaminoglycans of intercellular matrix – hyaluronic acid, it plays the role of regulator of adaptive modifications in the matrix of conjunctive and cartilaginous tissues. N-acetyl-D-Glucosamin, as a predecessor of sodium hyaluronate in its synthesis, stimulates the synthesis of hyaluronic acid in the cartilages, improving significantly the chondroprotective action of chondroitin and Glucosamine.

Papain

Papain is an enzyme belonging to a subclass of proteolytic enzymes (proteases) that occurs naturally in papaya fruit. This enzyme is similar in action to pepsin, a digestive enzyme produced in the human body. It is involved in the breakdown of proteins, especially of animal origin.

Papain also has anti-inflammatory properties. Papain stimulates metabolism, which has an effect on accelerating the regeneration of inflamed tissues.
